Patty Apostolides' Links to Greek American Authors and Greek American Literature

This site is a compilation of published books written by Greek American authors and non-Greek authors who write about Greece. They are not in any particular order, and although several authors have written several works, I could not put them all on this page; I only chose one work for each author at this time. I may add more in the future. In addition, I will provide links to other authors (academic) that write about Greece and Greek literature.

I am proud to display these author's works, for they contribute to the Greek culture significantly. So feel free to browse their books or their websites.

Nicholas Gage "Eleni"

Book review of Eleni...I had the good fortune of sitting in on a lecture given by Nicholas Gage several years ago for the AHEPA Cincinnati chapter. His warm, charismatic nature was evident as he spoke eloquently about his writing and filming career. His daughter, Eleni Gage, is quickly following in his footsteps with her own recently published novel "North of Ithaca."

New!Nicholas Gage now has a website. www.nickgage.com. Be sure to visit it for more information on the author and his books.

Lynne and Valerie Constantine "Circle Dance"

The Constantine sisters wrote a wonderfully captivating debut novel that covers several important issues - fidelity, honesty, dignity, and honor. Their Greek title "Circle Dance" is appropriate, for like a Greek circle dance, the story ends where it started. Yet the reader feels that they learned a few important lessons along the way." - by Patty Apostolides
